About Us

Lummis Law, P.A. was founded by Jocelyn Lummis, a graduate of the   University of Miami School of Law.  Lummis Law, P.A. provides IRS tax problem resolution both in South Florida and nationwide.  Ms. Lummis is licensed to practice law in Florida and Massachusetts which allows her to provide estate/family planning in both states.  Prior to opening her own law firm, Ms. Lummis worked as an attorney successfully helping clients with their tax problems and other civil practice matters.  She is committed to advocating for her clients with the IRS and assisting clients in protecting their hard earned assets.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

Ms. Lummis’ unique educational and career path gives her exceptional insight when dealing with the IRS.   Ms. Lummis has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Virginia Tech and graduated Sum Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  Her diverse and extremely successful careers have helped define her high degree of professionalism and her ethics.

Her first career was in federal contract management as a contract administrator for several multi-million dollar contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency.  Because Ms. Lummis wanted to make a daily difference in people’s lives she became a baccalaureate trained registered nurse.  She started her nursing career at a level one trauma center and then continued her career in a multidisciplinary 32 bed critical care unit.  Always striving for excellence, Ms. Lummis soon became a flight nurse/paramedic, or as some called her “the medivac girl”.  Ms. Lummis maintains her nursing license and paramedic certificate.

Throughout Ms. Lummis’ varied careers she has kept one goal at the forefront – to make a positive difference in peoples lives.  She does this by focusing on professionalism, ethics and providing a high quality service.
